In your study you will make reference to your wider reading around the subject you have chosen to study. This will give you further insight into previous work in this field. You will make judgements and or comments about the studies or findings and compare these with the work you have undertaken.
In your research paper you would normally include a review of the literature you have read, its relevance to your study and your analysis of this reading.
Your wider reading may include books, journals, internet references, brochures, videos or other sources of reference.
All reading must be referenced in your study and a bibliography at the end of your study will help those reading your study to follow further references around this subject.
You will use the Harvard system of referencing and a guide is included below to help you construct references in your study and how to construct a bibliography.
